Austin & Patrick | Intimate Wedding at Private Residence in Atlanta, GA
Austin + Patrick’s March wedding went much differently than planned, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! We originally began planning a large event at Summerour Studio, one of Atlanta’s most popular wedding venues. We had everything booked for a big celebration with lots of their loved ones (and lots of dancing!) However, as their date drew near and Covid-19 was not yet in check, Austin and Patrick decided to put their guests’ safety first and postpone their event. That didn’t mean postponing the ceremony, though! They decided to host a micro wedding ceremony and reception at Austin’s parents’ home, and it was an absolute dream.
We were already working with one of our favorites, Bold Events & Design, on catering, bar service, and floral design. They are so organized and professional, and are able to make magic happen! They transformed this family home into a perfect mini wedding venue. Greenery and blooms adorned the front door of the house and the fireplace inside.
The ceremony took place in the backyard under this beautiful white gazebo. Bold installed some flowy white drapes and natural greens that made the space look oh so bright and soft. The ceremony table held blue taper candles, white pillar candles, a fabric runner, and small floral arrangements. It was one of the most romantic ceremony spaces we’ve seen!
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while the bride and groom finished up photos. We love the navy bridesmaid dresses from Azazie that Austin chose. They were a great backdrop for the lighter colors in the bridesmaid bouquets, and paired nicely with the groomsmen’s gray suits. We also can’t get enough of the natural hair and makeup look that Jennifer Nieman created, and Holly Von Lanken did an amazing job capturing the joy on these faces!
After dinner, Austin and Patrick’s guests celebrated them by toasting, dancing the night away, and enjoying cake by Confection Perfection. Danielle Appleman of Slauer Events did a great job coordinating the details and making sure this event went off without a hitch. We’re so thankful to have been a part of it. We cannot wait to welcome ALL of Austin and Patrick’s loved ones into a big celebration in 2022!
